About Frankie & Son Barbershop.
I was managing the Groom Room before venturing out on my own to start a new journey of self employment & building a family owned business. Our families dream was to create a space bridging the gap between Hair salon and Barbershop for Men - An elegant but masculine space was always the vision for Frankie and Son. With a 4x2 porter-com dropped in the middle of Christchurch City I built a clientele steady enough to get ready for our commercial shop in the heart of Christchurch’s CBD
We had patiently worked out of a porter-com for 12 months while we waited for the building on Manchester St street earmarked for our new barbershop to be renovated when the opportunity to move into Christchurch’s new Riverside Lanes came along; Named after two of our children, Frankie & Son (for Sonny) .
The look and feel was designed by us and is definitely not your typical men’s barbershop, featuring welcoming flowers , plants and a pretty but masculine emerald and blush pink colour scheme. We would like to thank all of our customers who have been with us from the very start - we could have never done this without your support.
